Shure SE102 Headphones review

Finally Shure headphones for the budget goes to "aspiring music - people like you and me who are fed poor quality cans, which together with most MP3 players. This is particularly true for all generations of iPod, Apple, despite claims in the contrary. These white earphones? Yech!

Shure SE102 Headphones
The SE102s then do whatever Shure earphones. What it is, until the end of the lamp, the unit Micro speaker units and a range of Sound Isolating sleeves with the aim of reducing 90 percent of ambient noise.

If SE102s comes with four pairs of soft flexible sleeves, in small, medium and large for different sizes of ears.

Like all the other Shure earphones, the SE102s are designed so that in fact there is a headset cable into the top of the ear and on his MP3 player or the included 1m extension cable.

It takes a while, "accustomed to - and can be a pain if you wear glasses - but the result is an ambience that allows you to download your ears sounds really expect from the cans.

Just as the sound?
One of the benefits of Shure obvious method of cutting the environment is that it is not necessary to their music as loud as with conventional earphones or cans. This should help to limit the problems caused by excessive noise (such as the EU Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks warned this week), but also means that their attention is on the performance of SE102.

To be honest, the SE102s are not so bad. Fire some high bitrate AAC tracks from your iPod to do a job SE102s and credible transmission of sound - voice is clear and understandable, guitar tone, the drums sound, the plates must be "king".

Compared to a more expensive pair of Shure SE310s however, showed that some shortcomings. The SE102s simply do not sound richer and more detailed SE310s (which costs more than three times the price of 180 pounds).
You also have to crank the volume a notch to get the same volume SE102s face SE310 - something that is probably due to the fact that the absence of a tuned bass port SE102.

The results arevery listeners with virtually all types of music - even if the SE102 is slightly rough edge could be guaranteed not to hear. Bass heads happy by SE102s ability to reach a weight of up to 22Hz.

The other obvious Downer, the local unit. E 'significantly more bulky than other models of Shure SE series, what it might be difficult for long periods.

Given the undisputed quality and high prices, we are pleased Shure SE102s qualified thumbs up
